Guide To Dual Boot Ubuntu with Windows 10 (UEFI) in Dell

This blog is aimed to help people who want to dual boot their dell windows 10 system with ubuntu in UEFI mode. Create a back up of windows 10 system . It is essential as things can sometimes go wrong even though the probability of that is extremely low if you follow the directions. Disable the secure boot . The easiest way to do it is to reboot the system and press F2 continuously at start as soon as dell logo appears. Unwrap the secureboot entry in right panel and disable the secure boot and save changes when prompted to at exit.(Kindly crosscheck whether the booting is done through the UEFI in boot sequence entry). Most importantly Disable the Fast start up in windows 10  and also unclick the hibernate option. I cannot stress enough about the importance of these two steps.
